# Show up in Google and Maps: the Visibility role on GBP, Analytics, and Search Console

The Visibility role owns local and search visibility using the free Google stack: Business Profile, Analytics, and Search Console.

Customers look on Google, Maps, and AI answers. If your listings and measurement are half set up, you are guessing.

The **Visibility** role in Phantom Office owns local and search visibility using the **free** Google stack. No ranking guarantees.

I keep this role narrow on purpose. Solo operators do not need another vague "SEO strategy" that never gets opened. They need Business Profile, Analytics, and Search Console watched, with punch lists you can approve before anything public changes.

## What Visibility owns

- Google Business Profile
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Getting listed where local customers look (free map-pack directories as they apply)

Visibility does not edit your website content and does not run social. Those lanes belong to other roles. Content handles social and brand messaging. Sales catches inquiries. Admin watches inbox and calendar. Books handles transactions. Visibility stays on local and search measurement and listings.

## What you connect

Bring access to:

- Google Business Profile
- Analytics
- Search Console

That is the locked free stack. Keyword Planner and other free directories can come later in class. Do not invent paid tool requirements here.

If you do not have one of the three yet, that is fine. First job includes open or access. Creating access is human provisioning. Bring the Google account that owns the business so you can finish setup in the room instead of guessing passwords from a phone.

## First job in session

Open or access those three. Confirm they are ready to watch.

Ready to watch means you can see the property, not that every listing is perfect. Visibility may draft baselines, punch lists, and proposed GBP or listing edits. Changes that customers can see wait for your approval. Same approval gate as the rest of the office.

## Why this matters for a solo operator

You cannot improve what you never look at. Visibility keeps the measurement and listing work from falling off your nights-and-weekends pile.

Typical gaps I see in shops like mine:

- Business Profile half claimed or hours wrong
- Analytics installed once and never opened
- Search Console never connected to the site you actually run
- Directory listings missing or mismatched

Visibility does not promise page-one rankings. It gives the free stack a named owner with a brief and a folder. You approve public edits. You keep the brake pedal.

## How it fits the office

Chief of Staff holds the file home and the overview. You can ask what Visibility flagged today without logging into three Google products yourself. End-of-day summaries and urgent flags roll up. You can still talk to Visibility directly when you want the detail.

Live-by-end-of-day for Visibility means: live channel on those accounts, written brief in its folder, first real task running, approval gate on. Not a finished SEO project. A role that is actually staffed.

## Who this is for

Solo operators and 1-3 person teams in events, hospitality, home services, and local agencies. If customers find you on Maps and Google more than they find you on ads, this seat matters. If you have been meaning to "fix the GBP" for six months, give the work a role instead of another sticky note.

## Build it live on Grok Bot

Phantom Office Live is where the full six-role office gets built. Titles only on public pages: Chief of Staff, Admin, Content, Sales, Visibility, Books. You name them in class.

**Grok Bot** is required because it is the easiest to start and the most mobile-friendly option for a live room. Bring an account or set one up live. Bring a laptop. Live is $597 flat with 12 seats. Complimentary invite is first 12 free with overflow waitlist. Tool stack runs about $100 to $200 a month to providers, not to me. Optional Community is $97 a month. Weekly one-hour group call. Bring questions ready.
